Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
John 11: 25-26.

The need to remember the life of a loved one who has died has been
part of the human experience throughout history.
In the Catholic Church, the baptized are encouraged to remember, through prayer ritual and permanent symbols of, those who have gone before us in faith. St. Lawrence's Cemetery is an extension of the Church that ministers to our grief as the Church ministers to our faith. Being buried in the sacred grounds of St. Lawrence's Catholic Cemetery is an assertion of faith for both the deceased and their loved ones.
St. Lawrence's Catholic Cemetery is located in Guthrie, in the northwest corner of Hubbard County, was established in 1921 and is maintained by St. Theodore's Church.
From intersection of County 16 and 275th Avenue, go North on 275th about .5 miles; then turn right onto 444th Street. The cemetery will be on your left between 1/3 and 1/4 a mile. |
