Please note that preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are separate and apart from ongoing systematic religious education that we offer during
Catholic Release Time.

The Catholic Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance) is a time for focus on God’s mercy, how we forgive among our family, friends, and community and how we celebrate forgiveness.

You may celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at Our Lady of the Pines Church or any time by an appointment with the pastor.

At St. Theodore's Church the Sacrament of Reconciliaton is celebrated on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:20 AM.

We are happy to help your children prepare for the First Reconciliation and the First Eucharist- two special occasions for experiencing God's saving presence.

Children must meet certain requirements to receive the First Reconciliation: 

• Children must have regularly attended faith formation classes the year prior to preparation and be attending regularly the year they prepare for this Sacrament.
• OLP must have on file a copy of the Baptismal Certificate of child preparing for the First Reconciliation.
• The family must also register with the Parish Office, (218) 652-4005.
