The Baptism preparation session at Our Lady of the Pines and St. Theodore's Churches is designed to provide the formation and information needed to fully understand the Sacrament of Baptism and your role as a Catholic parent/ godparent.

If you are expecting the birth of your child–congratulations! All new parents are asked to share in an hour-long session concerning the Sacrament of Baptism and the Baptismal ritual.

Please speak with the Pastor about the Baptism Preparation Session. This session may be shared prior to or after the birth of your child.

Baptism Requirements:  
At least one parent must be a practicing Catholic, who is committed to raising the child in the Catholic faith. A parent that is not Catholic has to express a willingness to help and create a home where a child will receive an environment to grow in faith as taught by the Catholic Church.

The family asking for their child to be baptized has to be a registered member of our faith community and fill out a Baptism Request Form. If you are not registered in either of our parishes, you may register at the parish office (218) 652-4005.
